Long week, BIG DAY!!!!!

We have had well over a week of strep throats and upset stomachs. However, Justin decided that today would be a good day to start walking regularly. He has taken a couple of steps here and there, but he spent a good part of this evening walking between Matt & I w/a ball in his hands. The distance between us was about 6-8 steps. However, if you remove the ball, he doesn't want to stand and walk...back to scooting.

New baby news!

Just one! I have always thought the ultrasound pictures were creepy looking. I rotated the pic so that he/she is looking at you w/big belly towards bottom of pic. The due date set by my family doctor was 7/24. Over the phone, C.H.O.I.C.E. said it would be 7/22. When I actually went in to see the midwives (C.H.O.I.C.E.) they said 7/26. Today, the ultrasound doctor said he almost always moves a date later if he moves it at all. Today he moved it closer to 7/5. This is going to be interesting.

New baby stuff...

I finally have an ultrasound date to determine once and for all that there is only 1 baby inside me. It will be next Friday. Funny thing. My family doctor asked me today how I was feeling and if everything was ok and was I feeling the baby move. I told her I hadn't felt my 2nd child until 20 weeks (I am probably around 18ish weeks), but that I was pretty sure for the last couple of weeks I had been feeling faint fluttering. Later today as I was laying down w/the kids for a nap, I was never more sure of what I would call a slight kick & roll.

Stuff....

For those of you who know how NOT eager I am to have children messy, I seem to do better when I "allow" it.

Just too cute.

This pic is really very sad. I remember when I swore I would never allow my house to be so cold that my children would have to sit on the heater vents w/blankets to stay warm, as I had done as a child. WOW it hurts when your own words come back to haunt you!

These 2 snow pics are from our second winter storm, only this one had a lot of ice. Believe it or not Austin really did want to go out w/daddy. However, daddy hadn't shoveled the front steps yet, so as soon as Austin stepped out, he fell on his behind. The second pic was taken from inside because it was just to darn cold to go out!

The kids got to take home 3 helium balloons from great g-pa Paul's 80th b-day this past Sat. Justin has had a ball w/them ever since.

Justin can climb on to or up to most anything now-a-days. He thinks he is pretty cool.
